Today in 2B we made apple juice to celebrate 'matter'. All matter is a gift from God! Matter is sorted into three groups; Solids, Liquids and Gases. Today we took a solid and changed it into a liquid. We discovered the following changes:
1. it's difficult to change a solid, but it can be done
2. apples are both solids and liquids
3. gases escaped while we were making the apple juice
4. solid apples make delicious apple juice
5. when heat is applied to a solid, liquids can escape
6. hot air rises
7. experiments are fun
Thank you God for supplying us with delicious apples, electricity to provide heat, fridges to cool down hot liquids. Thank you God for the gift of fresh apple juice!!!
